Meaning of Friend and Wali: 

This time we have the book ‘Halka of Kashaf-ul-Mahjoob’ by Peer Ali Hajweri رحمتہ اللہ علیہ. You are reading this book as a lesson. There was a Wali of Peer Ali Hajweri رحمتہ اللہ علیہ. To whom do we call Wali? In the Holy Quran the word wali came in the meaning of friend. To whom we call friend? Friend is who move with friend by concession. When friend did not do concession then there will be antipathy. Is it friendship? For instance, if someone say that I have come to you in that time and you have done something which I really don’t like, you have insulted me, and did not respect me is this is your friendship? So that we come to know that friend is who respects you or who do take care of friend’s respect. So those who are friends of Allah or to those whom Allah is their friend so they do concession to one another. They did not pull of the Wreath, nor did they scratch their wreath. If they ripped the wreath, or take away the wreath and make their friend naked is that the friendship is?

Friends of Peer Ali Hajweri رحمتہ اللہ علیہ: Peer Ali Hajweri رحمتہ اللہ علیہ did not snatch the wreath of his friend Allah Almighty that means Allah’s glory and greatness, the wreath of Allah, to accept the oneness of Allah Almighty and no comparison of Allah is the wreath of Allah. Who so ever pull the glory and greatness of Allah or involve someone in the oneness of Allah, he cannot be among the friends of Allah. What he can be?
